The Ngati Whatua o Orakei Heritage and Resource Management arm of the Trust Board seeks to restore and enhance the threatened and unique native bio-diversity within its tribal area. It also seeks the restoration and continued celebration of Auckland’s 1,000 years of Maori history. Key programs include;
Monitoring development proposals and providing advice to Councils and developers on design that promotes the objectives above.
