Ngati Whatua o Orakei is a hapu based in and around the Tamaki isthmus, in the north island of New Zealand . Today, the hapu numbers over 5000 people.

The Trust Board is the mandated body that represents the collective interests of the hapu on the Tamaki isthmus. There are 11 democratically elected members of the Trust Board, all descendants of the common ancestor Tuperiri.
