Agreement in Principle And Collective Agreement Hui

Hui for Registered Beneficiaries of the Ngati Whatua o Orakei Maori Trust Board.

On 12 February 2010, your Trust Board signed 2 agreements,

• a Supplementary Agreement in Principle that amends certain provisions in the Agreement in Principle signed in 2006, and

• a collective agreement with 11 other iwi which involves ownership of maunga and a collective Right of First Refusal.

We have put together an information pack which will be in the mail to you on Thursday 25 February 2010.

In the pack we have nominated 3 dates for hui to be held at Orakei Marae 1pm - 4pm

1.      28 February 2010

2.      7 March 2010

3.      14 March 2010

and offered other dates for Regional hui.

We are writing to give you advance notice of the 28 February hui as the information pack may not reach you until Saturday 27 February 2010.
