The Great Boot Hill Trolley Derby

As part of the Matariki celebrations and the P Awareness campaign, the Reweti whanau organised the Great Boot Hill Trolley Derby.
It was held on the morning of 25th of June 2005.
The morning was full of humming and ha-ing because the weather wasn't quite right still. But when the Te Pukaki traffic cones and the BBQ turned up we had to go ahead with it.
Konnor Davis and his dad arrived first followed by the Smashing Smiths.
The street came alive with the sound of music, laughter and a lot of cheering as more and more amazing .... ... ...
