$8 Million of Navy Land Under Negotiation


Ngati Whatua O Orakei are on track to obtain Deed of Settlement by April 2011 after which the Board will commence a major ratification exercise with all the beneficiaries.

The Board continues to negotiate with the New Zealand Defence Force regarding $80m of Navy land on the North Shore.  The Board is still confident that we can do a deal that will obtain benefit at least equal to that negotiate in the AIP 2006.
