Congratulations to Lauren Graham, our winner of the Ngati Whatua Whakaahua Nui Photo Competition.
Her delightful photo below was chosen as it truly portrays the beauty of Whanau, and our most precious treasures.

Congratulations to Amber Parata, winning second place in the competition.
Her very thoughtful study of the next generation facing life in an ever-changing urban environment is beautifully depicted in her photo.

A special thank you to our judge John Miller, a legendary photographer who, since the 1960's, has captured and shared with the world powerful and momentous events in the struggle for peace.
Such events include anti-Vietnam War and anti-South African sports tour movements and the first Waitangi protests before moving to record the historical Land March and Bastion Point Occupation.
In 2003 Miller received a Media Peace Prize Lifetime Award in recognition of his photography and its role in helping to promote peace.
Below are all the photos that were entered into the competition.
