Instructions on how to vote can be found on your voting paper but if you have any questions or have not received a voting pack, call the hotline 0800 922 822. If you have not received your voting pack, or you have lost or damaged your voting paper, you can make a special vote.
To make a special vote
Special votes are available to anyone if you lose or damage your voting paper, do not receive your voting paper, or register as a Ngati Whatua o Orakei beneficiary after 29 September but before midnight 31 October 2011.

There are 3 ways to vote - by post, by ballot box at a Ratification Hui, or online.
1. Vote by post:
On the voting paper, tick your preferred options and post the voting paper in the return envelope.
If voting by post we recommend you post your vote no later than Thursday 27 October 2011 to be sure it is received before close of voting.
2. Vote at a ratification hui
On the voting paper, tick your preferred option and place your completed voting paper in the ballot box at the ratification hui.

3. Vote online
Go to www.voteonline.co.nz/orakei
Enter your voter ID and password shown on the reverse side of your voting paper. Follow the online instructions on how to vote.
NB Special votes cannot be cast online.
VOTING CLOSES AT MIDNIGHT MONDAY 31 OCTOBER 2011
No votes will be accepted after this time.
